Scope: This book series aims to bring together all the valuable contributions that focus on the recent developments in the field of computational intelligence as well as smart technologies and allied areas. The aim of this series is to consider cutting-edge technologies and explain their significance in terms of models, algorithms, theoretical concept related to computational engineering. It covers research related to the different databases and their applications to computational theory, machine learning, decision-support systems, artificial intelligence, knowledge-based systems, pattern recognition, fuzzy theory, meta-heuristic search, optimization, cognitive engineering, swarm intelligence, and other algorithms. Overall, the aim is to provide a unique platform for the technical solution related to the problems in the field of computational engineering.
The series “Studies in Computational Intelligence and Smart Technologies” will publish monographs, edited volumes and graduate-level textbooks. About the Series Editor:
Dr. Harish Garg is an associate professor at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab, India. He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India in 2013. He is ranked in the World's Top 1% Scientist List (World Rank #229) and Rank #1 in India published by Stanford University in the consecutive four years 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. He received the Most Outstanding Researcher award in the field of Mathematics from Carrer 360 Academy. He is also the recipient of the International Obada-Prize 2022 – Young Distinguished Researchers. He is also the recipient of the Top-Cited paper by an India-based author (2015 – 2019) from Elsevier Publisher. He also serves as an advisory board member of the Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN). He is a research Fellow of INTI International University, Malaysia.
Dr. Garg's research interests include computational intelligence, multi-criteria decision making, evolutionary algorithms, reliability analysis, expert systems and decision support systems, computing with words and soft computing. He has authored more than 515 papers (over 500 are SCI journals); Google citations are over 24050 with H-index- 87. He has also authored seven book chapters and edited eight books.
Dr. Garg serves on editorial boards of several leading international journals, including the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Computational and Cognitive Engineering (Scopus indexed). He is also the Associate Editor of Alexandria Engineering Journal, Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, Journal of Industrial & Management Optimization, International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, Machine Intelligence Research, CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology.
