Studies conducted by nanotechnology experts mapping the risks and opportunities of nanotechnology have revealed enormous prospects for progress in almost all the branches of science
This book series will focus on the properties and related applications of nanomaterials so as to have a clear fundamental picture as to why nanoparticles are being tried instead of traditional methods. Since nanotechnology is encompassing various fields of science, each book will focus on one topic and will detail the basics to advanced science for the benefit of all levels of researchers.

Dr. Madhuri Sharon (Ph.D. Leicester University, U.K.) & Post Doc (Bolton Institute of Technology UK) is the Director of the Walchand Centre for Research in Nanotechnology & Bionanotechnology; Managing Director Monad Nanotech and SP Degarbage; editorial board member of Journal of Nanomedicine Research, Chairman of the advisory board of Gujrat State fertilizer Corporation; member research committee of CREATE; Board of Governor member of MGM University; advisor Disaster management for BSMDA. She has published about 190 papers, 5 books, and has 11 patents. Special assignments carried out include Case Studies on the Development and Commercialization of Nanotechnology-based Value Added Products from the Asia-Pacific region for UNITED NATIONS; Report on status of Fuel Cell in India and its road map till 2022 for MNRE ; Assessment of Status of Floriculture in SAARC countries for BCIL. Guided 17 Ph.D. & 180 M.Tech. student. Visiting scientist for Nagoya University, Japan (1996) & MANA, TSUKUBA, Japan (2014). Held important positions in academic and industries including ; In-Charge Radio Isotope ICRISAT; Vice President GUFIC; Director RELIANCE. Recipient 4 national awards. She is also an Indian classical dancer, poet and painter.
