Series Editor:
Hanaa Hachimi, PhD, G. Suseendran, PhD, and Noor Zaman, PhD
Scope:
The idea of a series of books on modern math methods used in computer science was conceived to address the great demand for information about today's emerging computer science technologies. Modern math methods, including algorithms, encryptions, security, communication, machine learning, artificial intelligence and other math-based advanced concepts, form the backbone of these technologies and are crucial to them. Modern math plays a vital role in computing technologies by enhancing communication, computing, and extending security through different encryption algorithms. The ever-increasing demand for data storage capacity, from gigabytes to petabytes and higher, has higher requirements that need to be met. Modern math can match those requirements.
Empirical studies, theoretical and numerical analysis, and novel research findings are included in this series. The information highlighted in this series encourages cross-fertilization of ideas concerning the application of modern math methods in computer science.
The topics included in this series cover the following research domains:
Mathematical logic and foundations Mathematical methods in computational sciences and engineering Mathematical models for the information society Numerical analysis, probability and statistics Fuzzy logic, neural networks, and fuzzy set theory Analysis and operations research Nonlinear control and sustainable development Coding theory, reliability Higher algebra, number theory Geometry and topology; graph theory and combinatorial geometry Optimization, modelling, and simulation Computation in complex networks Computational statistics Uncertainty theory and applications Group theory and fuzzy graphs Calculus, differential educations and integration in computational science Complex systems: Modelling and simulation Application of soft computing, knowledge engineering, and machine learning Graph theory in computing Applied mathematics for computer science Mathematical modelling for computing
