Series: Innovations in Materials and Manufacturing

Series Editor: Dr. Prasenjit Chatterjee

Scope: Materials and manufacturing technologies play a crucial role in the economic and societal development of every country. More in-depth investigations of materials and manufacturing technologies are primarily required to widen existing knowledge and to promote innovation and response to ever-increasing industrial needs. In today's world, material innovation and application as a useful product are more important. Due to the shortage of natural resources, alternatives/substitutes are to be considered in order to maintain ongoing progress. The increasing attention and worry about the environment, as well as product recyclability and reusability, has given this ever-growing domain new views and problems. As technology advances, we are now in the era of miniaturisation and nano-manufacturing, necessitating the development of novel materials and manufacturing processes.
“Innovations in Materials and Manufacturing” Series addresses recent developments and research issues related to the productive use of materials and manufacturing processes, which necessitates the development of newer materials and manufacturing processes in order to produce high-quality products at lower prices in less time. This series aims to provide a scientific platform for researchers, practitioners, professionals, and academics to discuss the most recent technological developments in metals, polymers, ceramics, composites, biomaterials, nanomaterials, special materials, metals, microforming, powder metallurgy, ceramics processing, non-traditional machining, high speed machining, micro and nanomachining, and laser processing. Tribological analysis, friction behaviour, modelling, and optimization techniques in materials, machining, and manufacturing are also covered in this series.

“Innovations in Materials and Manufacturing” Series aspires to bring experts, research ideas, cutting-edge industry practices, professionals and engineers to a common platform for sharing knowledge and real time experience about the emerging trends in materials and manufacturing.
