Series: Human Centric Sustainability and Next Generation Technology

Founding Editor(s): Padmesh Tripathi

Series Editor(s): Padmesh Tripathi

Scope: Human Centric Sustainability and Next Generation Technology is a multi-volume series that investigates the merging of ecological thinking, human-centered design, and next generation technology. Each volume explores a diverse dimension of this convergence – social, economic, environmental, ethical and technological - offering a systemic and optimistic track toward an equitable and sustainable future. This series depicts sustainability and technology as interconnected living systems rather than treating them as separate domains. By drawing from different fields like digital innovation, systems thinking, AI ethics, regenerative design, and urban planning, the series provides a scheme for lining up innovation with human and planetary well-being.

The volumes in series provide a cumulative framework for investigating the 21st century’s most demanding challenges, from climate change to digital authoritarianism, and from extractive economic models to the erosion of trust in public systems. Researchers will gain a complete understanding of the manner in which living systems principles can lead and guide the ethical design and governance of next generation technologies and infrastructures. Whether it's rethinking the way we measure progress, imagining equitable futures or redesigning civic institutions, the series offers both conceptual lucidity and actionable corridors. It is equally significant for scholars, practitioners, and change-makers who are committed to shaping a more sustainable and adaptive world.
