Pradip R Khaladkar
Email: Pradip.R.Khaladkar@usa.dupont.comPradip R Khaladkar is a principal Consultant in the Materials Engineering Group of DuPont Engineering, Wilmington, Delaware, where he leads the Plastics, Elastomers and Composites Technology Division.
He began his career as a Materials Engineer with BASF, North America in 1974 and moved to DuPont in 1978. He worked as a general materials engineer first and then specialized in plastics as from 1987. He provides his expert skills and knowledge to all of DuPont’s new projects and existing operations globally. Additionally, he works with the marketing groups of DuPont's Teflon and the Elastomers businesses in their Chemical Processing Industries (CPI) initiatives.
He is a coauthor of "Fluoropolymers Applications in Chemical Processing Industries" (William Andrew 2004). He has also published several papers in prestigious journals and contributed chapters to handbooks and other reference books. He has been a keynote speaker at NACE and SPI conferences.
He has bachelors and masters degrees in Chemical Engineering. He is a member of national Association of Corrosion Engineers; a founder member of ASME Bioprocessing Equipment code - Polymers Chapter; a member of the SPI Fluoropolymers division; and the DVS (German Welding Society). He serves on the Board of Directors of MTI (Materials Technology Institute), a consortium of 55 global chemical companies.
